This vitamin is an important brain builder as well. Pregnant women might also benefit from taking iron. According to some sources, they need twice as much iron as other people because of an increased blood volume. Other necessary elements include calcium, zinc and vitamin D. But is it really necessary to take all those cheap supplements if your diet is healthy and well-balanced? Well, opinions vary among pregnant women and doctors.
